Abstract
This technical note describes a laboratory pressure system that is free standing, portable, and may be battery-powered so that it can be used in field locations if required. It has been found to be a satisfactory replacement for a laboratory pressure system based on constant bleed air pressure regulators. It has the facility for manual control of the set pressure from an onboard power supply system or remote control via d-c signal supplied from a signal generator or the digital to analog output from a data acquisition system.
