Abstract
A survey of the evidential value of paint transfer in traffic accident cases is presented. 124 replies were tabulated for a series of 8 paint transfer scenarios. Various conclusions were invited from participants ranging from “slight support” to “conclusive.” A brief discussion on the use of a scale of conclusions is included.
